Hi you lovely lot!
I'm Laura, I'm from England and I'm the blogger over at year2tastic!
I've been teaching for 9 years and I've always taught Year 2 (1st Grade) but sometimes I've had Year 1 mixed in which I love the most!
I have a passion for teaching Literacy and I'm a Phonics and Guided Reading specialist.
I have been married for 6 years, have 2 cats named Oscar and Daisy, I support Liverpool FC and love having tea and cake!
I adore Clueless, Autumn is my favourite season, candles make my heart sing, I list, I plan and Christmas is my jam.
Hello! I'm Suzy from On The Go Teacher Mama. My name says it all! I'm a wife, soccer mom, 2nd grade teacher, and teacherpreneur. I have two curly headed teen daughters who are amazing soccer players and keep me running all over the place. I also have an 11 year old Yorkie named Scruffy, who keeps me company while I type.
I'm lucky/crazy to be team teaching with my sister and another awesome 2nd grade teacher. I teach math for all three 2nd grade classes and I love it! I also really love to find new ways to integrate technology in my classroom. I have 14 iPad minis and craving more so I can be a true 1:1 classroom.
If you ever want to bribe me, I'll do just about anything for dark chocolate or salted caramel ANYTHING.
Hello! I'm Myranda from Keep Calm and Teach 5th Grade! I have been working in elementary education since 2007 and I absolutely love teaching 5th grade! I met Laura from year2tastic this summer in London and it was so great.
I teach at the local community college (teacher education courses). It is also the place where I began my journey to becoming a teacher so it holds a fond place in my heart. I run a summer camp in London during the summer (6 years and running) and I absolutely love makeup! I'm addicted to M•A•C and clipart and all things glittery!
I love teaching writing and science and I especially love mixing the two! I try to integrate science into my writing as often as possible.
Hello I am Kelly from the UK and I blog over at The Daylight Explorers! I have been teaching for about 10 years and I currently teach Year 4 (8-9 year olds). I am a Literacy and ICT lead in my school and I have recently started working as a Culture and Arts Leader with a local teaching alliance. I am book obsessed and I am quite partial to stationery as well.
I am passionate about creating exciting learning opportunities for my class and school which incorporate books, nature and the arts.
Hi there! I'm Kendwy from the East Coast of The United States and I blog over at Buggy For First.
I have been teaching first grade for 4 years and I ABSOLUTELY love it!
Although I teach all subjects and my Masters is in Elementary math, I am quite positively, overwhelmingly in love with teaching reading. Books are my passion and seeing a child engrossed in a book gets me all sorts of excited.
I am married to a very handsome and PATIENT (he's married to a teacher) man and we have two beautiful daughters. My 3 year old is contagiously excited about life and my 10 year old is bound to be some kind of superstar some day.
I love ladybugs, polka dots, anchors, bacon, and all things organization. Give me some polka dotted binders, sticky notes, and a few slices of bacon, and I'm one happy teacher.
Welcome :) My name is Ash and I currently blog at Ms Idealistic. I teach grade 6 in Northern, Quebec, Canada and this is my third year teaching. I love all things to do with technology integration in the classroom and teaching our students to be global citizens.
I live with my bf of 10 years and two kitties Kylee and Mia (aka Missing in Action) and feel very privileged to be a part of this blog!
I love warm tea on a cool Autumn day, painting and doing anything creative in my free time. I am also a tech geek and book nerd who would honestly live in a library if she could. The aha moments in my classroom are what continue to fuel my love of teaching.
Hello! I'm Christina and I blog over at Hanging Around in Primary. I am probably the most experienced of the group in terms of years of teaching: this will be my 21st year! Currently I am teaching in a school outside of Kingston, Ontario, Canada. I have taught Kindergarten - Grade 4 but the majority of my time has been in Grade 1. I love that age! The students are so keen and they learn sooooo much in that formative year of school.
My husband and I have 2 children, a boy who is 15 and enjoying high school and a girl in grade 7. She is loving school this year and the program she is in. As a family we love to spend time at our cottage throughout the year and travel in our RV across Canada and into the US during the March Break and summer.
I love a good book (and the time to read it), chocolate and spending time dreaming up and creating things for my students and then offering them to other teachers in my TPT store. I am a former scrapbooker and think that creating for my classroom is my newest addiction. I love that creative outlet!
